Under the agreement, both companies will explore the development and deployment of low-carbon technologies, including carbon capture and storage (CCS), carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS), as well as blue hydrogen and ammonia. The partnership will also assess opportunities in renewable energy development.

The collaboration forms part of broader efforts to strengthen Indonesia–South Korea energy cooperation during President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to South Korea.
