PLN Indonesia Power President Director Bernadus Sudarmanta said the partnership with South Pole has played an important role in monetizing the company’s carbon assets and could be expanded to support broader decarbonization initiatives.

“We appreciate South Pole’s contribution to unlocking the value of PLN Indonesia Power’s carbon assets,” Bernadus said. “The success of this collaboration provides a strong foundation for extending the Gunung Salak Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA) while exploring new opportunities in decarbonization and clean energy.”
